Who we are…

We are a family owned business from Hilo, Hawaiʻi. Our company was born out of Kealoha’s passion for cooking great food for our ohana to enjoy. As a child, Kealoha adored watching his grandmas’ styles of cooking, which taught him that sharing good food together is an expression of aloha (means love in Hawaiian). Whenever we had celebrations, Kealoha was always asked to make his specialty - Lilikoi BBQ Ribs. While it has been our lifelong dream to start a food business, it wasn’t until our dear friend encouraged us to do a food booth that we made our dreams a reality. With her help, we were able to hold our first food event during the annual Merrie Monarch Festival held on the Big Island. Kealoha, with the help of his wife, Krystie, took that leap of faith together and it was a big hit! Kealoha’s BBQ received raves from kamaʻāina (local residents) and visitors from around the world! This little success became the start of Kealoha’s BBQ and now, we are expanding our vision to add aloha and enjoyment to all ohana around the world through our onolicious food and gourmet products.

Here at Kealoha’s BBQ, our mission is to add ALOHA and ENJOYMENT to all ohana around the world through our onolicious food and gourmet products. Special times are created when families and friends come together with great food, lots of laughter, and tons of aloha!

Our Vision…

Our vision at Kealoha’s BBQ is to help struggling families add ALOHA and JOY to their lives. We hope to accomplish this by donating a portion of our profits to special programs and scholarships for those in need.
